Meet Your Agent
Atticus Freeland
Realtor & Licensed Broker — Far West Texas
Atticus grew up in Brewster County outside Alpine and developed an appreciation for the unique, mountainous land of West Texas at a young age. Being outdoors and learning about the terrain, topography, flora and fauna was a part of his upbringing. The family ranch in Brewster County provided years of refining that knowledge of the land. This rugged terrain and the vast landscapes of the Trans Pecos are near and dear to his heart.
Going back four generations, the family has dealt in ranch real estate across Texas including Bexar, Kerr, Frio, Val Verde, and Brewster counties. His grandfather, H. Kyle Seale, was a great influence on his decision to get into the real estate world and continue the family legacy.
Today, sharing that appreciation and knowledge with clients is what he loves about being involved in real estate in the Far West Texas region. Whether it's residential, investment, or ranch property — Atticus's familiarity with and roots in the area, local businesses, community life, and culture make him stand out.
Prior to real estate, Atticus attended Patrick Henry College outside Washington, DC where he majored in International Politics and Policy with a minor in History and studied the Russian language. Upon graduation in 2013 he spent four years in the security/defense industry in DC before working overseas until 2020. West Texas called him home and he has been proud to be back — serving his clients in their real estate needs across the Big Bend and Far West Texas region.
He started his real estate career in 2020 with his sales agent license and earned his Broker's license four years later at the earliest a sales agent could. He currently lives in Lubbock and focuses his time and energy in unique and rural properties across the vast region of West Texas. When not showing properties and doing real estate, he spends his time hiking, hunting, and being out on the land as much as possible.
